Elizabeth "Betty" Brower

Betty Brower, 95, formerly of Long Island N.Y. peacefully passed away on Tuesday March 29th. She is preceded in death by her loving husband John Edward Brower Sr.  She is survived by her 3 children, Nona Bottjer and her husband Robert; John Brower Jr. and his wife Nancy; and Douglas Brower and his wife Donna. She will be missed by her 6 grandchildren Noel Bottjer, Eileen Messer (Brower), John Brower III, Zachary, Mackenzie & Desiree Brower, and 6 great grandchildren Maggie, Sarah, Gavin & Claire Botter; and Brandon and Hayley Messer.

She worked as a social worker and activities director for local nursing homes. She loved crafts, socializing and playing cards. She loved bridge and played for over 80 years.

Celebration of Life will be held from 1p.m. to 3p.m. on Saturday April 16 at Betty's condo.

We will always remember Betty. She was a kind, caring, easy going, charitable, fun to be around, wonderful friend to everyone she met & a great competitive bridge player. Our lives are richer for knowing Betty. We will miss her very much.
