Melbourne - It is with great sadness that the family of Faye Jones announces her passing on July 14, 2021. Faye was 83 years old and had battled Parkinson Disease and Dementia for over 9 years. She walked away from a plane crash but could no longer fight the diseases that took her life. She was born in a small town outside Oak Hill, WV. on Jan. 29, 1938, daughter to the late Coy and Edith Holley. She was one of nine loving children. She has joined her late husband Carl, the love of her life in heaven, now playing another round of golf together. She is survived by her 3 children, Jack Jarrett residing in Indianapolis, Ind., Sue Tyson Parker and Brian Jones from Palm Bay, Fl. Three sisters, Frankie Bolyard and Judy Stover residing in WV and Nancy Hahn living in Ohio. Predeceased siblings, Jimmie Holley, Coy "Jr." Holley, Helen Tincher, Audrey Armstrong and Betsy Colvin. Faye has 4 grandchildren (3 step granddaugters) and over 24 nieces and nephews. She was a daughter, a wife a mother a sister an aunt and a friend, who was loved by all for her kindness, her beautiful smile and her "always happy disposition".

Faye was an avid golfer with 2 hole in 1's and she loved fishing with her husband. She worked for Evans Lumber Co. and Peerless Block Co. in Charleston, WV area before moving to Florida in the mid 1980's. She worked for Ace Hardware in Palm Bay and Melbourne as their bookkeeper until her retirement. She loved her Ace Hardware family and the time she spent with them.

She was an advocate for women and education and completed high school and college after she raised her children. She was a member of the Oceanside Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association where a special scholarship bearing her name has been established. In lieu of flowers donations can be made for this scholarship to help local women further their education. Donations in memory can be made to the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF), c/o ABWA Oceanside Charter Chapter, PO Box 360151, Melbourne, FL. 32936. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
