To my cousin, whom I will always remember. It is with great sadness I recieved the news of his passing. One of the most vivid and cherished memories of my childhood were the several weeks we spent in Florida each summer with him. I will remember him always. To my cousins Tommy, Cathy and Scott only time will lessen the pain that you now feel. I am sorry for your loss.

Gary was a great individual always had a wise comment early in the morning. I had the rare opportunity to exchange fishing stories with him. He was always available to do that last minute emergency at work. I will surely miss his presence. My heart goes out to his family for their loss.

Gary, You will be forever remembered in our hearts. We watched you grow up and we had alot of good times together when you would help Johnny on the race car back in the early 70's. You never failed over the years each time we saw you to come up and say "Hey, remember me, Creepy Crowl". (we gave you that nickname out at Smeals garage, because you loved to creep up on us and try to scare us.) May God Bless your children, grandchildren and family. I know they were the light of your life. We will miss you and your smile. Rest in peace.

Tommy,Shelba,JJ and little Tommy. I was saddened to hear of your loss. It's Hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you all were a special part of Gary's life. When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help. I will always cherish the memories of the air-boat days, and just knowing you all. My heart aches for all of you, I'm so, so sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to Gary's family for losing a wonderful brother or father. He was a wonderful man with such a big heart to all that knew him. He never wanted for anything but was always there for everyone. You were a special man by far and will be deeply missed by me.
To Gary we must say goodbye
He wouldn't want to hear us cry...
A sweeter man we've never met
In our hearts we'll never forget!
The angels came to take him home,
Now we are left on earth to roam.
His time wasn't that long, yet seemed too short
To memories now we must resort.
For everyone he had a smile
And he loved to sit and talk and drink awhile.
Now in our hearts Gary still lives on
Until our time on earth is gone...
Then once again we'll join our
friend
Together in time that will never end!
I will miss my friend in you Gary !!!

Gary was a great guy, always there for everyone. He was a friend, teacher and would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He always had a ready smile for everyone. How many airboats did we build together! All the times we hung out in the welding shop! You will be greatly missed by your children, family and numerous friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you! If any of you need anything you know you are family to us, please let us know!

My heart hurts so bad. He was so wonderful to everyone and would do anything for anyone, but would never let anyone do anything for him.
To his family I know how close you all were and how much he loved his kids. Everyone that knew him were so blessed. I will think about you always Gary and know in my heart how much I appreciated you and how much I will miss " Your Perty Smile"

Gary--I just can't believe you're gone! I recall the time you tried to teach me to two-step and my 2 left feet just couldn't do it! And all the times I called your house for Tina's phone number, you'd just laugh at me and rattle it off once again! Your kindness and giving spirit will truly be missed. Rest my friend.
