Laurie: Although geographically we were not close to you and George, very little time passed at our house without some mention of George. Not only was he a classmate, fellow footballer, and a singer, as was I, George was a good friend of mine and I will remember him and cherish his memory forever. His emails up to the last were full of George's humor and grace. Jane and I want to extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to you at this difficult time. Remember that you have an "army" of friends at your disposal.

George was very special, and I'm sure life will be quite empty for a long time. Dig into that super strength you have to endure. Remembering the good times helps tremendously.
