James Peters Obituary
James served in the US Air Force in Korea, North Africa, and France. He was a Master Mechanic and was a great help to many with their cars. He retired in 1996 as Service Manager from Gobe Iron in Norfolk.
His passion was racing. He built cars that his son, Dan, raced at local tracks. He was an avid fisherman and taught his sons to hunt, fish, and trap. He raised many beautiful beds of flowers at his homes. His zest for life and stories will be missed by his friends and family.
The family will receive callers at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Twiford Chapel, Chesapeake, VA on Friday, October 1st from 6 pm till 8 pm.

Sorry to here about Jim, our prayers are with you and Jim.

Carol, We all are greatly saddened to here of Jim's passing, although I did not know him long I gained a lot of knowledge from him and am sorry that I will not have him around. Doug & Damie also, Bruce & Claire
