Jimmy Pridgen Obituary

JIMMY B. PRIDGEN PALM BAY Jimmy B. Pridgen, 75, died Fri day, December 9, 2005 at Wil liam Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay. Born April 14, 1930 in Lake land, Florida, he was a graduate of Lakeland High School and re ceived his Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and Masters Degree in Education at Temple Univer sity in Philadelphia, PA. After college graduation he served in the U.S. Army before teaching high school in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Flori da. He was employed by Harris Corporation in facilities manage ment until his retirement three years ago. Jimmy was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Prichard and divorced from Janet Thompson of Melbourne. His family includes his stepson, Frank Whalen of Palm Bay and brothers, Hugh M. Pridgen of Lakeland and Jack W. Pridgen of Great Falls, VA. Arrangements entrusted to Palm Bay Funeral Home, 724-2224.
