Mr. Armao will never be forgotten. Assistant District Director for the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage & Hour Division and my direct supervisor. It was an honor to have him as my supervisor. It was also my great pleasure to have difficult employers who asked to speak with my supervisor to speak to Mr. Armao. He was on our side and always had our back! May the lord always bless you!

Joe was my immediate supervisor for many years and it was a pleasure working for him. Joe was a member of the greatest generation, a WW II veteran, who fought for our freedom in foreign lands and seas. Joe was a hero. He was my friend and I truly enjoyed those times at his home were he made his favorite drink for all of us. Rest in peace Joe.

Eileen: As you know, I worked under Joe when he was the ADD in Miami, Fl. until his retirement. In all the years I worked under him we never had a cross word or an argument. He was firm but fair and could not have asked for a better boss. May God grant him eternal life . My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

This great man known to me as "Papa Joe" was a kind and true gentleman.. When I met Papa Joe 18 years ago he was one of the most warm and genuine people I have ever met. He was like family to me instantly and that is when he became my Papa Joe. He was the best dance partner and I will cherish all the beautiful dances with him and all the wonderful times our families shared. I will never forget all the delicious meals Papa Joe made for me. His eggplant was my favorite and one of the best ever ! I will truly miss being his personal barber. Papa Joe will be greatly missed. My sincere sympathy goes out to his devoted wife Eileen and family. May You Rest In Peace Papa Joe. Heaven has just gained an Angel !

Joe will be greatly missed. He always opened his doors to everyone and was a truly loving man that would give you the shirt off his back. We will miss his loving smile and his sense of humor. He will always hold a special place in our hearts and the memories of the good times we had together will always keep him alive forever in our hearts. Our sincere condolences to Eileen and the family.
