Pearl Blevins Obituary

PEARL BLEVINS MELBOURNE Pearl Thelma Blevins, 87, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005 in the company of her loving family. Born in Sprigg, WV, she was a wonderful mother and homemaker her entire life. Pearl and her late husband, James, moved to Melbourne, FL in 1980 from Man, WV. Pearl was a member of Bowe Gar dens Baptist Church, past mem ber of the Garden Club of Melbourne, past member of the Womens Club in Man, WV and a volunteer at Holmes Regional Medical Center as well as the hospital in Man, WV. Pearl is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James; daughter, Betty Doris Blevins; three sisters, Bea Marcum, Juanita Fitch and Hazel Phillips; three brothers, Bob, Harry and Billy Phillips; two son-in-laws, Donald R. Savage, Sr. and Sam Ellis. Pearl is survived by two daughters, Lois Savage and Sue Ellis, both of Melbourne, FL; two sons, Jim Blevins (Teri) of Palm Bay, FL and John Blevins (Melisse May) of Cincin nati, OH; ten grandchildren, Don Savage, Brenda Alexander, Lora Ellis, Tristina Keith, Keri Bredwell, Felicia Stanford, Jessica Blevins, Adrian Blevins, Lauren Elder and Jon Elder; twelve great-grandchildren, Tiffany Savage, Tim Savage, John Savage, Cassie Motter, Lee Alexander, Lola Romero- Ellis, Bryanna Keith, T.J. Keith, Logan Stanford, Avery Stanford, Cayleb Blevins and Trey Blevins; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home with Rev. John Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Joes Club, Alzheimer Foundation, 4676 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32940 or to William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
