Robert Guthrie Obituary

ROBERT GUTHRIE TITUSVILLE Robert Lee Guthrie, Sr., 87, a beloved father, brother, and Gramps, reached his final travel destination to meet his Lord on Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Born and raised in Charles ton, West Virginia, he later moved to Florida. Robert was a retired mechanic of Pan Ameri can World Airways and served in the U.S. National Guard. Robert is survived by his three children, Robert L. Guthrie, Jr., Paul E. Guthrie and Nancy L. Cook, all of Titusville; sister, Wilma Honaker of Ten nessee; and brother, Carl Guthrie of West Virginia. He is also survived by seven grand children and thirteen great- grandchildren, with two more on the way. Robert was passionate about traveling and spent the majority of his retirement years visiting all the people and parts of the world he could reach. He loved documenting his experiences in movies, photographs, journals and travel logs and sharing them with his family and friends. Robert also enjoyed collecting coins and stamps from his travels. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where a memorial service will be held at the Titusville Ward at 3000 South Street at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Visitation will be held at the church one hour before the service and interment will be held immediately following the memorial service at Brevard Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of North Brevard Funeral Home and Crematory, Titusville, Florida.
