Susan Steger Obituary
Susan E. Steger, 51, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL. Ms. Steger was born July 27, 1960 in Rockledge, FL. She spent time in Arkansas, and returned to Merritt Island, FL in 1992.
Ms. Steger received her Master's Degree from Arkansas State University. For the last sixteen years, she taught at Eau Gallie High School.
Ms. Steger is survived by her son, Zachary Pete Steger of Merritt Island, FL; two brothers, Sam T. Steger and his wife, Karen of Stuart, FL and Thomas S. Steger of Tacoma, WA; and mother, Helen S. Steger, PHD of Merritt Island, FL.
A Memorial Service for Ms. Steger will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cocoa Beach Community Church. Rev. Leonard Sponsler will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Church Garden.

My condolences to Susan's family. I worked with her at Eau Gallie. She really cared for her students, and was always sharing her ideas, resources, and time with her fellow teachers. Her death was a great loss to us all.

Dear Zach, Helen, Sam and Tom,
I am sorry for your loss. I most fondly remember Susan during the women's group that read the book "What Happens When Women Pray". Susan's unique sense of humor was gladly welcomed during our discussions. I also remember how excited she would get when she was getting through to her students.

Dear Helen, Zachary, Sam, and Tom,
I am so sorry for your loss of "Suzie", as I remember her growing up. She was so cute with her curly hair and giggles. I did not know her much as an adult, but would often see her at church when I was in town. May remembering the good times help to ease your sorrow.
