So he put his arm around you and whispered, Come with Me. With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

I first met Yvette when I went to work for her at her restaurant in Glastonbury Ct. That was in the late 70's. We became very good friends. Yvette was a great lady. She had a wonderful way about her. You always knew if you needed her, she would be right there...I couldnt ask for a better friend. We had a lot of good times over the years. I will miss her.

In late 1987 I walked into a boutique in Indian Harbor Beach, and added a blessing to my life, the friendship of one of the most wonderful women I have ever met, Yvette! I spent many happy times visiting Yvette at her boutique. Then when she opened Yvette's French Quarter Cafe, I spent many more happy hours in conversation over coffee with her. I treasure those times spent in her company.
Yvette, was a wonderful person, a wonderful friend who touched the lives of all who she came into contact with. Yvette was a wonderful family oriented lady. She often talked about her daughters, Cindy and Tammy, and her grandchildren who she loved dearly. Yvette could light up any room she walked into with her genuine smile and personality.
I was honoured to be considered a friend. A light has gone out here on earth, but there is a brighter star in heaven.
God Bless you Yvette, I know you will be dancing in heaven!
