Albert Ayers Obituary
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday (September 25) at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gorham Fire Dept., P.O. Box 174, Gorham, NY 14461 or the Stanley-Hall-Gorham Ambulance, P.O. Box 41, Gorham, NY 14461.
Albert was the son of the late Herbert and Martha Ayers. He was a self-employed mason all of his adult life. Albert enjoyed hunting, singing and playing the guitar.
Albert is survived by nine children Albert (Sheila) Ayers, Jr., Tracey (Gloria) Ayers, Brian (Cynthia) Ayers, Gary (Mindy) Ayers, Bonnie Rider, Christine Ayers, Jeffrey (Dawn) Ayers, Kelly (Christine) Ayers and Angela (Cecil) Brand; 23 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 11 brothers and sisters Polly (Rena) Wilson, Daniel (Anneta) Ayers, Charlotte Ayers, Robert (Phyllis) Ayers, Ronald (Alice) Ayers, Kent (Gloria) Ayers, Larry (Donna) Ayers, Steven Ayers, Suzzanne (Joe) Hill, Maryanne (Steven) Tima and Duane (Kelly) Ayers; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn N. Ayers; two sisters Linda Colegrove and Donna Card.
