Albert LaShier Obituary
Son of Albert and Marjorie LaShier, he spent his childhood on beautiful Canandaigua Lake, graduated from Middlesex Valley Central School (now Marcus Whitman) in 1967 and SUNY Geneseo in 1972.
A quiet, unassuming guy, he was an excellent writer, gourmet cook, lover of baseball and many genres of music. In his later years, he grew a local reputation for his lovely and moving renditions of Broadway tunes and a broad array of songs at karaoke, his hobby.
Predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law, Henry McGovern, he is survived by brothers Steve (Judy) of Middlesex and Richard (Gloria) of Baltimore, MD and sister, Cynthia McGovern of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and five nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
