It´s been 3 years since you passed. It still feels unreal. I miss you just as much today as I did 3 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don´t think about you and oh how I miss our talks. Till I see you again my friend. Love you always. Lu

It was a shock, to say the least, when I saw Ambrose’s obituary in the Post Standard. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and all those who were close to him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
He was a very dear friend of mine who I have known and worked with for many years. We first met when I started working for Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics in Groton, Connecticut in the mid 70’s. We worked in the same engineering group until I left EB and took a position with General Electric in Syracuse. In the early 80’s when Ambrose was contemplating to relocate back to CNY which is where his family roots were I convinced him to join GE and again we worked closely together until the time I left the company. Upon my leaving GE (then Lockheed Martin) and his retiring from LMCO we continued to keep in close touch.
It saddened me greatly when I found out he had passed away. He is one of the most honest, kind, and generous guys I have ever known. He was always there to help someone who was in need. He was willing to do anything to help, literally giving the shirt off his back if that’s what it took.
The one saving grace with his passing is that he is now in a much greater place with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. However it still doesn’t remove the heartache of losing such a dear friend. He will be dearly missed.

Ambrose was a dear family member to me. He helped me at my lowest points, he brought many happy times into my life. I will miss our “dates” at connies and I will miss coming over, seeing that handsome smile. I love you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, you have saved me.

There is no doubt in my mind, Ambrose set himself the highest standard to carry throughout his whole life with consistency that no man on earth could not ever live up to his standard. The way he loved, the way he gave , without conditions. Never fault finding on no one, speak ill of no one.
Love ,humility ,gentleness kindness and generosity were rooted in the bones of Ambrose. Yet he was a strong protector toward people he loved.
Ambrose was the only one man in this world I am completely relaxed and no anxiety around, Ambrose hold me in his arms I could fall asleep like baby peacefully. my security and safe place was sitting on the recliner with Ambrose watching movies together.
After traveling around the world, finished my global mission as advocate of cause . I returned to the States where Ambrose opened his arms and home to provide me everything I need to reestablish new life in Seneca Falls.
Ambrose has been a huge supporter of my piano career.
He got me a nice baby grand piano to allow me back to daily practice comfortably at home , always listened quietly showing encouragement and appreciation.
Ambrose and I spent last six months day and night together,
going places, chasing sunset, see the leaves changed in the mountains, it was the happiest time of my life.
The perfect intimacy between a man a woman, our thoughts, and spirituality and values totally compatible. I would never love any men like that way I love Ambrose, he was one of kind, unique one who is my soulmate and I am very thankful and honored that we found each other on the very last his journey .

I remember when Ambrose took me to Bath, NY to see a dear friend of mine who was a pastor there at the time. After we left he took me to lunch at the pier house in Geneva and he said that you can get whatever you want. And I just had to get the $11.00 salmon burger. He asked me what I was having and I said the salmon burger he laughed and said I'm getting the same thing! And wanted to know if I liked sea food and I said yes. I think he took me to see my dear friend and it was just for me.

Such a wonderful man. He was a patient in our Cardiac Rehab program years ago and continued to stop in and say hello between visits to his family. He was such a nice man and always had a kind word and a good hug! His big heart will surely be missed.

With deepest sympathy to Ambrose’s family. I worked with Ambrose in Towed Arrays at Lockheed Martin; he was a wonderful man and mentored me while I was there. When he retired my daughter and I had lunch with him many times at the McGee Diner. He was truly a family man; loved his family and friends and always had a wonderful story to tell. I will miss Ambrose and cherish the time we had together. Till we meet again my friend RIP.
