Daniel was born on November 20, 1955 in Geneva, New York. He graduated from Mynderse Academy High School in Seneca Falls in 1974. He was a member of the Armed Forces and served in the U.S. Army. After his service, Daniel traveled throughout the United States making his permanent home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he enjoyed the beauty of the natural landscape.

Daniel spent his life in the construction business having built many homes in the Santa Fe area. Daniel was a devoted fan of his beloved Cleveland Browns Football Team. He was razor sharp and fast on his feet with quick wit as his trademark. He always enjoyed a lively debate. Friends could always count on "Dan" for a helping hand with the question of how shall we accomplish this. He had great love and respect for his Country and all those who served it.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Jean Hendrickson of Seneca Falls; siblings, Michael (Joan) Hendrickson of Penn Yan; Elise (John) Agnello of Panama City Beach, Florida; and Mary (Tony) DeStefano of Seneca Falls; children, Jason (Rosa) Hendrickson of Las Vegas, Nevada; Jennifer (Vinny) Hendrickson of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Matthew (Jordan) Hendricks of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Ace, Adrian (Jessica), Isabel, Vince Martinez, Jr.; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Daniel was predeceased by his father, Robert Hendrickson. Daniel is survived by his dear and beloved friends, Glenn and Sharon Hilleman and Tom Berkes of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Daniel was predeceased by his loyal companion, his dog Lucy.
