David Childers Obituary

ROMULUS - Randy Childers, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday (December 31, 2020) at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, after a two year battle with cancer.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours or service. A private family celebration of his life will be in Phoenix, Ariz.

Randy requested memorial contributions be directed to the Youth Art Program at the Artist's Lounge, 116 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.

Randy was born in Phoenix, Ariz., on April 7, 1953, the son of David M. and Annabel (Gunther) Childers. He worked as an auto technician at several area garages for many years until his retirement in 2018.

He enjoyed aviation which lead to him building his own airplane. He was an avid gardener. Randy's biggest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his significant other of over 20 years, Cheryl D. Duck; his mother, Annabel (Guther) Childers; his daughter, Allison (Keith) Del Fabero; sons Jason, Dale (Jessica) and Justin (Natalie Gagnon) Pemberton; his sister, Debra A. (James) Carter; brother, Christopher D. (Chrysanne Rinderknecht, MD) Childers; grandchildren James and Bransen Uticone, Mersella Del Fabero, Alexander, Alivia, Audrey, Tripp, Jace, Abigail and Elliot Pemberton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, David M. Childers
