Derrick Wright Obituary
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday (December 9) at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 West Genesee St., in Clyde.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday (December 10) at St. John's Catholic Church, Sodus St. in Clyde.
Derrick was born in Geneva, N.Y. on September 24, 1993, the son of Martin and Katharine King Wright. He attended Clyde-Savannah High School. He had a true talent and love for many sports and was a wonder to watch on the field and court. A contagious smile and a true love and devotion for his many friends and family.
Mr. Wright is survived by his parents, Marty and Katy Wright; a brother, Kenneth (Kaitlyn) Wright; a sister, Lauren Wright; five nieces and nephews, Morgan, Owen, Oaklynn, Natalynn and Maren; an aunt, Jennifer Welch; three uncles Robert (Jessica) Wright, Steven (Samantha) Wright and Kristopher King; maternal grandmother, Kathleen (John) Graham; paternal grandmother, Linda (William Houser) Wright; and paternal grandfather, John (Tina Murray) Wright.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth King; and paternal grandfather, Edward Welch.
Arrangements entrusted to Baris Funeral Home.
