Ellis Singleton Obituary
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday (June 16th ) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday (June 17th) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sodus Cemetery.
Mr. Singleton was born December 12, 1940 in Estill, South Carolina. He moved to New York State in 1965 with his wife Mary Lee Singleton. For many years, Ellis worked for Seneca Foods and Xerox.
He is survived by his children, Brenda Singleton of Sodus, Ellis (Delores) Singleton, Jr. of Oswego, Doris (fiancé Ron Yonker) and Shirley Singleton, both of Newark; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special friends Susan Barbosa and Veronica Lieberman; two brothers and a sister. Ellis was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
