Frank Quartaro Obituary

GENEVA - Frank E. Quartaro, the longest standing City of Geneva employee of 51 years, a Vietnam War veteran, and most importantly, a dedicated father to his three children, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 16th, 2024. Born in 1950, Frank's life was a testament to service and love.

Frank is survived by his three children: Victoria, Mackenzie, and Nicholas; his granddaughter, Julia; his sister, Kathleen (Robert) Emerman; mother of his children, Karen Doeblin Quartaro and his nephews, Michael and Matthew. He shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Dozer, who brought him great joy and companionship.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frank A. and Margaret Galasso Quartaro.

Frank's career with the City of Geneva spanned over five decades, reflecting his unwavering commitment to his community. His service in the Vietnam War demonstrated his courage and patriotism, earning him the respect and admiration of many.

An avid car race enthusiast, Frank found excitement and joy in the thrill of the track. His generosity and kindness touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Frank's stubbornness was a defining trait, but those who knew him well understood that beneath it was a heart of gold. To know Frank was to love him, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Friends may call at McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva on Sunday (July 21) from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday (July 22) at St. Stephen's Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow the service in Glenwood Cemetery.
