Frank Scharett Obituary

WATERLOO - Frank Scharett, 56, passed away peacefully Friday (December 31, 2021) after battling COVID.

At this time there will be no public calling hours or service. A Celebration of life will be in the Spring.

Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, Frank's family would like you to consider memorial contributions to either; Junius Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance or charity of one's choice.

Frank was born August 13, 1965 in Waterloo, the son of the late Frank A. and Bernice M. (Albro) Scharett. He was a 1983 graduate of Waterloo High School. He worked for Bailey lumber, then JRLON Inc. in Palmyra for over 30 years as a machinist.

He loved his family, the outdoors, (fishing, hunting and 4 wheeling). He was a member of North Seneca Sportsman club.

Frank is survived by his brothers, Art (Theresa) Scharett, Ken (Karen) Scharett, Howard (Peggy) Scharett and Dan (Shirley) Scharett; his sister, Mary (Fred) Fischer; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins, whom he loved very much and enjoyed spending time with.

Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Scharett; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank North Seneca Ambulance, Junius Fire Department, Geneva General Hospital ICU Nursing staff, Respiratory department, Dr. Margaret Ameyaw and Amber C. ICU.

Oh the memories that I have with you from setting your arm on fire while playing with models cars to almost sinking our boat on Seneca lake during the lake trout derby and laughing so hard we start crying. I will forever miss you. I love you cousin, rest In piece Frank.
