Jane L. McLoud

Jane L. McLoud, 80 years old, died at the Penn Yan Manor Nursing home, May 29, surrounded by family.

Jane will be buried together with her husband at a future date. There will be no funeral or calling hours until her beloved husband joins her.

Jane was born on May 24, 1938 in Bellona, N.Y. She graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1954. She married her second husband and the love of her life Raymond McLoud February 12, 1977. They lived in Penn Yan where Jane worked as the store manager at Byrne Dairy for many years. Always with a smile on her face. She also worked for the Dundee radio station as a news reporter and for the Dundee Observer. She retired in 1996? and dedicated her remaining time bringing joy to everyone she met. Jane was known for her smile and her sense of humor. She loved to read (before her illness) and play crossword puzzles. Making people laugh was a life-time goal.

Mrs. McLoud is survived by her children with Ray McLoud, Kevin (Erika Holland) McLoud, and Sarah McLoud Gaylord (Justin Coats); her children from her first marriage are Barry (Rose) Kerrick, Donna (Don) Henderson, Jeffrey (Donna Sue) Kerrick, Maynard (Patti) Kerrick, and Robert Kerrick; one step-son, Bill McLoud; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with 4 more due this year.

She is pre-deceased by three step-sons Raymond McLoud Jr., Harry McLoud and Edgar McLoud.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Penn Yan Manor. They showed her love and kindness during her stay there. In return, Jane made them smile and laugh. "Oh Pickles"
