Jane Salyer Obituary
Jane was born in Montour Falls, N.Y. on August 10, 1934, the daughter of the late Mary and Beattie Dean. She graduated high school and married Ronald Salyer on December 23, 1952 in Burdett, N.Y. She was the bookkeeper for Agway Home Center in Baldwinsville, N.Y. for 20 years. Jane was an avid Quilter and had taught quilting for 10 years and enjoyed sewing and embroidery. She was a member of the Bluff Point United Methodist Church, where she participated in many Bible Study Classes, was a member of their Women's Group and help with church dinners and making communion bread.
Jane is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ronald Salyer; daughter, Robin DeSantis (Jim) of Port Crane, N.Y.; son, Dean Salyer (Kirsten) of Angelica, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Edna Lambert and Linda Wager.
A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of her family.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Bluff Point United Methodist Church, PO Box 134, Bluff Point, NY 14478.

While Jane was a cousin by marriage only, I always loved the times we spent together over the decades. Such a loving, kind and generous lady whose devotion to her family knew no bounds. I will miss her forever.

Jane was such a wonderful church friend that we felt were family. Loved her and Ron to pieces, and miss her dearly. She was a frequent visitor to my lake home and part of our lunch group. She made so many things for church and others. Such a sweet lady!!! I know she and Ron are dancing in heaven.

As a customer through our business Rexford heating I met this couple Jane was a very sweet lady .. her husband said gave me this plant one of the times I had been there to repair there furnace..... God bless
