Janet Emerson Obituary
A graveside service in Bellona Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
Janet was born on October 8, 1941 in Palmyra, N.Y. and raised by her mother Isabella Case Mincer. She graduated from Canandaigua Academy High School. Janet devoted her life to health care as a LPN in the Finger Lakes Area.
She is survived by her son, James (Grete Christensen) of Penn Yan; her daughter, Jill; grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley), Sean, Benjamin and Griffin Emerson as well as Heather, Samantha, and Justin Carr; eight great grandchildren; her brothers, Ronald, Thomas (Delphine), and Douglas (Kim) Mincer; and her sister, Nancy Cieresi.
She was predeceased by her husband Douglas; her son, Sean; her mother, Isabella; and her brother, James.
