Jessie Karalunas Obituary
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday (March 16) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 West Main St., Waterloo, N.Y. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Geneva, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Pet Pride Cat Sanctuary & Adoption Center, 7731 Victor Mendon Road, Victor N.Y. 14564.
Jessie was born June 1, 1972 in Geneva, N.Y., the daughter of Carlos C. Maldonado and Christine Marie Karalunas. She was a 1990 graduate of South Seneca School, and received an Associates Degree from Finger Lakes Community College. Jessie worked as a Food Service Manager for Huntington Living Center in Waterloo for many years.
Jessie is survived by her children, Joshua (Matthew Clark) J. Karalunas of Seneca Falls, N.Y. and Alexis V. A. Karalunas of Geneva, N.Y.; uncle George (Deb) Karalunas of Jamesville, N.Y. and aunt Terry (Joe) Hagen of Palmyra, N.Y.
She was predeceased by her parents; grandparents Daniel E. Karalunas, Sr. and Hazel A.; and uncle Daniel E. Karalunas, Jr.

She was very sweet and obviously a hard worker. My heart goes out to her family. It is so hard to lose your mom while she in the prime of life.
