John Sutliffe Obituary

Jack was born on Sept. 20, 1930, in Waterloo and was the son of the late Willard G. and Agnes (O'Conner) Sutliffe. He owned and operated "The Sewing Machine Doctor" for 50 years. Jack was a runner who set track records for Waterloo High School and always jogged 15 miles a day. He organized the Celebrate Commemorate 5K race and even carried the Olympic torch. Jack served as president of the junior football league in the 1970's. He was an avid Syracuse fan. Jack loved the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Ann (Consolie) Sutliffe of Waterloo; daughter, Kimberly (Stacey) Sutliffe of Bloomfield; daughter-in-law, Tricia Sutliffe of Waterloo; sister, Betty Mumford of Fla.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Christensen, Jeffrey (Samantha) Sutliffe, Lorenzo Sutliffe and Giavanna Sutliffe; great-grandchildren, Alyvia, Ella and Isaac Christensen, Averie, Talon and Riker Sutliffe.
Jack was predeceased by his son, Mark S. Sutliffe in 2016; sister, Beatrice Kreutter.
