Jon Allen Obituary

NEWARK - Jon Allen, born on May 14, 1960 and a true lover of life, passed away on October 7, 2023.

He found joy in life's simple pleasures - NASCAR, riding motorcycles, football, and good beer. Jon was a devoted husband and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a lover of all animals.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Terry Allen (Stone); daughters, Leah (Jake) Bloomer and Jessica (Chris) Kight; grandchildren, Cora, Edie, and Wilda; brothers, Jim and Terrence; and sister, Pam. He also leaves behind many animal friends.

Calling hours will be held at Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home located at 103 Maple Ct, Newark, N.Y. on Tuesday (October 10) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Following the service, family and friends are invited to share beers and memories at Main Street Restaurant, in Newark.
