Kurt VanCamp Obituary
Friends may call on Thursday (Oct. 25) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will be private for the family.
Kurt was born on March 13, 1993 in Newark, N.Y., the son of Scott and Amy Jo Fisher VanCamp. Kurt graduated from Midlakes High School in 2010. He was currently attending FLCC and was studying Conservation. Kurt enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting with his father in the Southern Tier. He also loved working on his truck. Kurt was employed at the Clifton Springs Hardware Store.
Kurt is survived by his parents Scott and Amy Jo of Phelps; sister, Karissa VanCamp of Buffalo; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Sandy Fisher of Phelps; aunts, Kelley (Norm) Rockefeller of Clifton Springs, Pam (Guy) Everson of Clifton Springs; uncle, Steve VanCamp of Clifton Springs; several cousins, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Janet VanCamp.
