Lola Quad Obituary

GENEVA – Lola C. Quad, 101, of Geneva passed away on Wednesday (February 20, 2013) in the Living Center North.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday (February 26, 2013) in the Chapel of the Presbyterian Church in Geneva. The Rev. Deborah Lind-Schmitz, Interim Pastor will officiate. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to the Presbyterian Church in Geneva.
Lola was born in Missinowa Township, Darke County, Ohio and has been a resident of Geneva for many years. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose Weidner Cox. She was a graduate of Greenville High school class of 1930 and of the Greenville Business College in 1931. She was employed as a secretary at the First Presbyterian Church in Geneva from 1960 till 1974. She was a member of the Geneva Women's Club, Sampson AFB Veterans Association Inc., Sampson Navel Base Veterans Association, Seneca County Extension Service, Honorary Membership in the Program Agency of the Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Geneva.
She is survived by her nephew, John B. Kuttler of Trenton, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor B. Quad.

Mrs. Quad was a neighbor of mine for many years. She was a wonderful lady with a big heart. She amazed me over the years with her cooking abilities! She will be missed. RIP Mrs. Quad!
