Loretta Ernst Obituary
CLYDE - Mrs. Loretta M. Ernst, 72 of 65 Lock Street, died Wednesday (August 7th) peacefully at her residence. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday (August 15th) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. Clyde. Funeral services and burial will be private.
Memorial contributions to the St. John's Food Pantry, 49 West Dezeng St., Clyde, N.Y. 14433 would be appreciated.
Loretta was born in Hilton, N.Y. on September 6th, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Mary Dean Hunn. She had been involved with food service her whole adult life, including being a cook at the Circle Spot Restaurant in Rochester. Loretta was active in the St. John's Food Pantry, Bingo at the Clyde Fire Hall and Jim Hoyt's Auctions. She was also a member of the Clyde United Methodist Church. Loretta was married twice, first to George W. Ernst and then to Donald Schey. Both have pre-deceased her.
Surviving are her two sons, William (Beth) Ernst of Victor and Craig (Jessie) Ernst of Walworth; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild; her brother "Butch" Hunn of Greece and her two sisters Mary Hunn of Florida and Helen Scott of Rochester.
Besides her parents, Loretta was pre-deceased by her two husbands.

Our deepest sympathy to Loretta's family through this difficult time. I have fond memories of Loretta and her campsite at Norwin's, and the last time I ran into her in the store the big hug she gave me! What a sweet person Heaven has gained. Rest in Peace Loretta. Our prayers to your family.
