Lucille Favorite

LODI, NY/NAPLES, FL-Lucille Favorite age 91, formerly of Lodi, N.Y., died on June 11, 2011, following a brief illness.
Lucille was born in Wellsboro, Penn. and had worked at the Willard Psychiatric Center for many years. Following her retirement in 1981, she moved to Florida. She loved to host her visiting family, and during their stay, she made sure their itineraries were packed full with visits to many of the Orlando attractions. At these parks, Lucille was like the "energizer bunny". As her family sat exhausted from the heat and all of the daily activities, Lucille kept on going and going. She will be fondly remembered for her delicious bread pudding and spaghetti sauce, that became a staple at every family gathering. Some of Lucille's past-times included playing the organ, knitting, bingo, and attending social gatherings at the local church or clubhouse.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Shirley Shepker; grandchildren, Scott (Denise) Swick of St. Petersburg, Fla., Stuart Swick of Lodi, N.Y., and Susan (Kris) Albro of Interlaken, N.Y.; and great grandchildren Ariane Swick of California, Johnathan Swick of Lodi, N.Y. and Sara Peckay of Eden, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; daughter Mary Lou Swick; sons in law, Leroy Swick and Paul Shepker; and granddaughter Elizabeth Shepker Peckay.
Prayers of committal will be at the West Lodi Cemetery in September.
