Mary Nolan Obituary

GENEVA - Mary Louise (Johnson) Nolan, 95, passed away on April 17, 2017.
Services for the immediate family will be held on a future date to be announced.
Mary was born July 21, 1921, the daughter of Dr. Fred and Minnie (Culver) Johnson in Bethlehem, Pa. She grew up and attended schools in Olyphant, Pa., a small town near Scranton. Mary was a graduate of William Smith College (December 1942) and the widow of Robert Nolan, a life-long resident of Geneva who passed away in 1992.
Mary pledged her body to be used as an unrestricted gift for the advancement of medical education through the New York Chiropractic College. Her ashes will be buried next to her husband in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Mary is survived by a son, Dr. Michael Nolan (Denise) of Syracuse; three daughters Mary Peters (Geoffrey) of Fairport, Barbara Caroselli of Pittsford, and Patricia Lawler of Syracuse; nine grandchildren, Christopher Serafino (Marla) of New Jersey, Patrick Serafino (Michelle) of New Mexico, Colleen Beverly (Phillip) of Saratoga Springs, Michael Nolan (Samantha) of Syracuse, Brett Caroselli (Jennifer) of Rochester, Brian Caroselli of California, Brendon Caroselli of Rochester, Michael Lawler of Syracuse, and Corinne Lawler of Syracuse; four stepgrandchildren Larry White Jr. of Ohio, Patrick White of Oklahoma, Kerry White of Oklahoma, Jennifer Lawrence (Steve) of Penfield; seven great-grandchildren, Alex Miller, Noah and Emme Serafino, Tyler and Caleb Beverly, Charlotte, Jacob, and George Caroselli; nine step great-grandchildren, Joseph White, Madison, Micah and Lawrence IV White, Jacob and Jordan White, Ryan, Alanah and Sidney Lawrence.
Predeceased is daughter, Catherine White (Lawrence III) of Rochester.
