Michael Morabito Obituary
WATERLOO - Michael Morabito, 67, passed away at home on January 22, 2026, with his loving family by his side.
He was the son of the late Luigi and Jean (Coblio) Morabito.
Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. The family will hold a Celebration of Life in the latter part of spring.
Michael found his greatest joy on the water aboard Jeanie Lou and Ollie II, or behind the wheel of his beloved "She-Devil" Firebird. His deepest passion, however, was found at McGraw's Martial Arts. He dedicated himself fully-first as a student and later as an instructor-persevering even through physical challenges. With the unwavering guidance of Daisho Dan McGraw and the late Shodai Andrea McGraw, Michael achieved one of the proudest moments of his life: completing his final test of strength and earning his Kuro-Hyo-Ken Karate-Do Third Degree Black Belt.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Kerr) Morabito; daughters Oriana (Charles) Laning, Mandi Kerr, and Shayla (Vince) Kerr; siblings Jessica (Dan) Monahan, Sullivan (Mabel) Morabito, and Sue McIntyre; sister-in-law Dawn Kerr; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his faithful "fur-kids," Missy, Sassafras, and Tig Tig.
In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Olive Kerr Walsh.
