Michael Voak Obituary

KEUKA PARK – Michael Earl Voak, age 69 of Keuka Park, N.Y. passed away on Tuesday (June 29, 2021) at Geneva General Hospital.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday (July 17) at the Valley Inn, 2862 Guyanoga Rd., Branchport, NY 14418.

Michael was born in Penn Yan, N.Y. on April 8, 1952, the son of the late Robert Earl and Frances Virginia (McGuire) Voak. He was a graduate of Penn Yan Academy Class of 1972. Michael served for 3 years in the US Army. He was a mason for 29 years at Chrisanntha Construction Corporation in Gorham, N.Y., retiring on September 1, 2017. He enjoyed spending time with his friends working on the Fisher Racing Team race car.

Anyone who knew Michael knew that he was the most loving, yet stubborn father, grandfather and friend a family could ask for. Michael is survived by his daughter, Kendra (Matthew) Reed of Penn Yan; grandchildren Carter and Garrett Reed; his grandpup, Remmy; grandcat, Stella; brothers Danny Voak of Dundee and Jeff (Eileen) Voak of Pittsford; nieces Rachel (Ben) Levine, Adrienne Sweigart-Voak and Lindsay Voak; as well as many family members and friends; and his many best friends, including Mike Olney and his pals at Marble's Auto.
