Mildred McBride Obituary
Please join the family for Mildred's memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday (September 18) at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 301 East Miller Street, Newark, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Laurel House, 224 Fair Street, Newark, NY 14513, in Millie's memory.
Mildred was born the daughter of the late Eugene and Helen (Mushinko) Krouse on Friday (February 5, 1943) in Beaverdale, Pa. Mildred graduated high school in Beaverdale, Pa. Millie moved to Newark in the 1960s, where she worked at the Lincoln School as the cafeteria manager, retiring after 20 plus years of service. Millie enjoyed helping out at her church and talking with her friends. She loved making homemade meals, baking, and canning fruits and vegetables.
Mildred will be remembered by her son, Timothy McBride; sisters Loretta Cononie and Margaret Sawicki; and several nieces and nephews.
Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Willard, in 2019; and her sisters Georgene Kovacic and Delores Meier.
