MONICA JANE BLANK
EDWARDSVILLE - Monica Jane Blank, 41, died at 3:00 a.m. on Friday, April 04, 2014, at Relais Bonne Eau in Edwardsville.
She was born Dec. 6, 1972, in Jacksonville, Ill., the daughter of Mark Langdon of Jacksonville and JoDell Langdon of Eldred, Ill.
She first married Chad Whitney who he preceded her in death. She then married Michael C. Blank and he survives
She is also survived by two sons, Carson and Harrison Whitney of Edwardsville; one daughter, Emerson Blank of Edwardsville; one brother, Michael T. Langdon of Grafton, Ill.; and her step-father, Alan Voiles.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Langdon.
Monica was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edwardsville. She was a graduate of Carrollton High School and Western Illinois University.
A memorial mass will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Edwardsville with Father Daniel J. Bergbower officiating. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday following the memorial mass at the N.O. Nelson Complex, 600 Troy Road, Edwardsville, Ill. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Carrollton, Ill. at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Whitney-Blank Family Fund in care of The Bank of Edwardsville; 330 West Vandalia St. Edwardsville, Ill. 62025.
Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville is in charge of arrangements.
