Pat´s legacy lives on in the numerous photos he took from the area of nature/wildlife. Pats sister Diane continues to incorporate the photos in the memory care books she compiles in memory of Pat and her husband. These lasting tributes are a gift!!! Your works live on Patrick!!!

We're so sorry for your loss. The O'Connell's were simply part of Poplar Beach summer and his smiling face and cheery hello will always be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I didn't know Patrick well, but growing up in Romulus everyone knew the O'Connell family....his parent and grandparents. Nice family. Always helping other people out and involved in school and community events. My sympathy to all his siblings and the rest of the family as well.

So very sorry to hear of Pat's recent passing. We had so many great times growing up together in Romulus. Playing basketball every night at his house, playing softball and football on the front lawn of the school, sledding on the hill at the cemetery, riding snowmobiles, hanging out at Mona's pizza playing pinball, going to all the great basketball games at school on Fridays, and so much more. Our deepest condolences to the O'Connell family. Our prayers are with you. We will never forget Pat. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

My parents - Joe and Tillie Doyle - were best friends of Jim and Joy when we lived in Romulus. I was only 10 years old when Patrick was born but I remember it was a bad snow storm and Jim called his buddy Joe Doyle to help him take Joy to the hospital. I’m very sorry for your loss. I think Patrick’s middle name - Joseph- was for my Dad Joe ? God bless all of you during this sad time.
