Roberta Chase Obituary
A celebration of her life will be announced in the spring. Interment will be private.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 4, 1923, the daughter of William Thompson and Nina Smith. She was the devoted wife of Edward E. Chase for 71 years. Bobbi was a woman of amazing energy and enthusiasm. She had a lifelong interest in Home Economics and Applied Arts. Her teaching career at Mynderse Academy brought her great joy as did membership in the Women's Reading Club, and her creative pursuits of painting and weaving. She was an elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca
Falls. Her family is deeply grateful for the years of wonderful care given her by Tina Tuttle and Joy Voorhees; many thanks as well to the gentle caregivers of Lifetime Care Hospice.
She is survived by her loving husband Edward and children Debra (William Penhallurick) and Scott (Beverly Tarnow) Chase. Four grandchildren W.S. Chase Penhallurick, Megan Weeks, Melanie Marshall and Marlee Chase; two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are in the care of the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St.,Seneca Falls.

Dear Ones,
I remember my Aunt Bobbi as a mother of two young children. She was delightful, bright, energetic, a favorite of my mother and father! I always loved it when she and Uncle Ed came to visit us in the big house in the country near Des Moines. Mrs. Chase was my Home Ec teacher at Mynderse. A very lovely person - always had a smile and a cheery disposition. Great teacher - should be more like her!
