Memorial contributions may be made to; St. Francis Church 130 Exchange St. Geneva, N.Y. 14456 or Beverly Animal Shelter 50 E. River St. Waterloo, N.Y. 13165.

Ronald was born on June 5, 1952 in Geneva and was the son of the late Howard and Beverly (Miller) Dickenson. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972-1974 and was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Ronald retired after many years as the Foreman of the Water Department for the City of Geneva Department of Public Works.

He was a member of St. Francis Church, longtime member of the Big Oak Golf Course, former member of the Local Carpenters Union, and dedicated Buffalo Bills fan.

He was a proud grandfather, a devoted father, and a loving, supportive husband to his wife, Josephine, with whom he shared nearly 40 years of marriage. Ron was known for his skills as a handyman, always ready to lend a hand when something needed fixing. Friends and family often turned to him for help, and he never hesitated-he would do anything for anyone. His selflessness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.

May Ronald rest in peace and may his family find strength and solace in the memories of the love they shared. You will live forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace, Ron.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Josephine; daughter, Brittany (Eric) Haas of Denver, CO; granddaughter, Cameron Haas; brother, Thomas (Joyce) Steadman of Seneca Falls; sisters, Virginia (Claude) Bounds of Rushville, Cynthia Steadman of Arizona; sister-in-law, Barb Erwin of Geneva; brother-in-law's, Thomas (Deborah) DiCostanzo of Geneva, Anthony (Pam) DiCostanzo of Geneva; several nieces and nephews.
