Rose was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y. on October 17, 1942, the daughter of the late Anthony & Adeline (Vinciquerra) Cammuso. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls and a 1960 graduate of Mynderse Academy. Rose completed the insurance course at Auburn Community College on June 6, 1961. She became the youngest licensed insurance agent in Seneca County. Rose pursued this insurance career until her death, having worked for and managed Gay & Son Agency Inc. for John E. (Jeb) Becker II. She began her insurance employment with Cousin & Wolf Agency in Seneca Falls in 1960, moving to Chacchia & Son in Geneva, NY in 1962. In 1969 she began working with Jeb Becker when he purchased the Gay & Son Agency. For the past 34 plus years she has been cooperate secretary and office manager of that agency in Seneca Falls. Her customers were like family to her, and many times she would open the office on the weekends to take care of their immediate needs.

She was a active member of the S.M.S Auxillary holding the position of financial secretary, the Seneca Falls Historical Society; TOPS #NY 321, Five County Insurance Agents, & was the Queen Mum of Cady's Red Hat Society in Seneca Falls. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls.

Rose had the rare quality to make you laugh in the way in which she delivered her stories. Her laugh & smile were positively contagious. Rose was the epitome of the word "beautiful soul". Her love & light truly shined from deep within her. She loved to bake and cook and frequently shared her tasty creations with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Toni Marie who was always by her side; two nieces Lisa (Randy DMD) Mitchell of Newark, N.Y., Kimberly (Sean) Murphy of Fairport, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Tim Scheltz of Fairport, N.Y.; great-niece, Leslie (Paul) Plucinik of Clyde, N.Y.; two great-nephews Owen and Eamon Murphy of Fairport, N.Y.; great-great-niece, Loren Plucinik; great-great-nephew, Peter Plucinik; many close friends; extended family; Godchildren and her loving fur grand babies, Milo & Otis.

In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by two sisters Anne Scheltz & Philomena Cammuso; and two brothers Lawrence & Anthony Cammuso.

Toni Marie & her family would like to extend a special thank-you to the nurses at Clifton Springs Hospital and the staff at the office of Jason Garringer M.D. of Clifton Springs.

It's a sad and difficult time for the Class of 1960
Rose was the glue that kept classmates connected. Her newsletter, Rose Petals" was a wonderful way to keeping us informed of what's happening in Seneca Falls and in our lives.
When someone was visiting from out of town, she made sure we all got together to reconnect.
Even though distance kept us apart, she always kept in touch.
Rest in Peace, Rose. You will be truly missed.

Rose was adored by all and her stories always put a smile on peoples faces. She would light up the room. Well, I guess I should mention that anything she cooked would also bring smiles to everyone too. no one could out do Rose's cooking and her stories, she is one in a million and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was an angel on earth to many and now she is a saint in heaven.
