BRANCHPORT - Sally Button Ribble

A cherished individual known for her kind, caring, loving, energetic, determined and strong personality, passed away at her home in Branchport on January 5, 2025 at the age of 83.

Sally enjoyed Bible Study, worship, baking, knitting, crafts, and time with family. Sally lived her life as a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Her "radiant" smile and "energetic, enthusiastic attitude lit up the room. She was Determined, Strong, and Loving, always wanting to do what was right. Sally was generous with her time, talents, and treasure.

Sally was born Nov. 26, 1941. Sally was educated at Penn Yan Academy and worked at Barden's, Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, as a caregiver, and in recent years as CEO of her home in Branchport.

She is survived by her husband Harvey; sons, John Warren (Nancy), Tim Warren (Vicky), Bob Warren (Connie), Rodney Button (Shari), Andrew Button (Tammy), Christopher Button (Stephanie); daughters, Debbie Button Marston, and Patty Button Jacobs; nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and countless others whose lives Sally touched. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary, and husband Robert Button.

Services will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 4197 Italy Hill Rd, Branchport, N.Y. on Saturday (January 11) at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Faith Baptist Church. A reception will be held at the church. She will be buried in Pulteney Cemetery.
