Stephen Hennessy Obituary
Family and Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday (May 13, 2012) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday (May 14) from the funeral home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church (Our Lady of Peace Parish). Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VA Medical Center Hospice Care Fund #1640, 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, N.Y. 14424 or Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva, N.Y. 14456.
Steve was born on July 22, 1947 in Geneva the son of the late Howard "Doc" and Joyce Hennessy. He was a graduate of St. Stephen's and DeSales High School and a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. He was a member of the United States Air Force and proudly served in Vietnam before his honorable discharge in 1970. After spending many years in Ariz. and Calif., Steve returned to the Finger Lakes and worked for 17+ years at Seneca Foods, Inc.
Steve is survived by his sister, Jane (Jay) E. Feinberg of Kerhonkson, N.Y.; a brother Robert (Mary) Hennessy of Newburgh, N.Y.; one nephew and two nieces, Alan (LaDonna) Feinberg, Laura Feinberg and Alyssa Hennessy; two great-nieces, Vanessa and McKenna; one great- nephew, Trevor; close friends Paul Minutolo, Mark McCheyne and Robert Galasso.
He was also predeceased by his niece Regan E. Pedersen in 2008.

Kind thoughts to all of Steve's family and friends. I remember his wonderful smile growing up through St. Stephen's and DeSales, in my mind he is still a tall and handsome man.

Hennessy Family.... We are sorry to hear of Steve's passing. We knew Steve from his Air Force days, and spent a lot of time with him in Arizona.
