Terrence Roberts Obituary
Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday (October 19) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva, N.Y. 14456. Burial in Whitney Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
Terry was born in Batavia on July 20, 1954, the son of Donald and Cynthia Roberts. He graduated from Geneva High School in 1972. He retired from Wadhams Enterprises in 2018 after 30+ years in the trucking business. Terry and his wife, Sue, moved to Penfield, N.Y. in 2019 to be closer to his children and grandchildren.
Through the years, he was involved with Vince Lombardi Jr. Football League, a Geneva Little League coach and a coach for the Finger Lakes Jr. Bowling program at Sunset Bowl. He really enjoyed working with and teaching youth. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and mowing lawns for over 20 years. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. He loved watching his grandkids playing baseball, softball and basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Susan (Gulvin) Roberts; son, David (Nichole) Roberts; daughter, Jennifer (Nicholas) Allen; grandchildren, Lauren and Eric Roberts and Natalie and Ethan Allen, all of Penfield. He is also survived by his brothers, Tracey (Sandy) Roberts, Thomas Roberts and Torrey (Kelli Havens) Roberts all of Geneva; stepbrothers, Scott (Kim) Smith, Kevin (Wendy) Smith, Stephen (Lori) Smith and stepsister, Sandy Zeoli; and several nieces and nephews.
Terry was predeceased by his father, Donald Roberts; mother, Cynthia Smith; sister, Tammye Roberts and stepfather, Lewis Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kay Lehman Jr. Bowling League c/o Sunset Bowl, 341 Border City Road, Waterloo, N.Y. 13165 or UR Medicine Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd, Webster, N.Y. 14580.

In high school, we shared the same name..his with a "y", mine with an "i". He was class of 72 and I was class of 71. In mechanical drawing, we sat side by side and attendance was always confusing for our teacher! Sincere condolences for your family.

Sue ,so sorry to hear of Terry´s passing just a great person loved by all especially all the youth bowlers they just loved and respected him so much. We hear at Sunset will never forget what he has done for the Junior program and will miss him! May he rest in peace our prayers go out to him.
