William Peck Obituary

FORT MYERS, FLA.– William G. Peck, 79, passed away on Thursday (January 12, 2017) at his home in Fort Myers, Fla.
A celebration of his life will take place this summer at a time and place to be
announced.
He was an optical engineer and worked for many years in the Rochester, N.Y. area for Bausch and Lomb, Genesee Computer, Opkor and others.
Friends wishing to remember Bill may make contributions to the Alzheimer's
Association or Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Ward; his son and daughter William and Rhonda Peck, and their mother, Ann Pinella; his son-in-law, Mike Fakhr; his sister, Elizabeth Chappell; his sister-in-law and her husband, Katherine and George Trimarco; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents William and Jessie Peck of Geneva N.Y.; and his twin brother, Fred.

I remember Bill from my employment at Genesee Computer in Rochester, NY. He always had great stories to tell that in addition to being entertaining also taught me a bit about optics and computer programming.
