Jacqueline Davis Obituary

Jacqueline M. Davis LOGAN, Utah - Jacqueline Millward Davis, 66, of Logan, Utah, formerly of Bancroft, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, left her loved ones unexpectedly on March 10, 2009, in Pocatello, Idaho.
Jackie was born April 27, 1942, to Faye and Glade Millward in Bancroft, Idaho, where she grew up and graduated from North Gem High School. Jackie served an LDS mission in California.
She married Brian Davis; they were later divorced. They resided in northern Utah and Federal Way, Washington. They raised a family of six children, and Jackie delighted in her 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her children are Kimberly Nielsen (Tim), Deone Docken, Tawny Jetawn Davis, Jennifer Saulala (Alatini), Jeffrey Davis (Jen), and Michelle Sheldon (Dean). She is survived by all of her children and grandchildren.
Jackie was very loved by her siblings, George, Vicki, and FayeAnne, as well as countless other relatives and friends. Jackie loved being with family, spoiling her grandchildren and serving in church callings. She was an active member of the Relief Society, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the American Legion.
Although we will miss our red-headed Jackie, we are comforted in knowing she has shed her earthy burdens and joins her parents. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Bancroft LDS Chapel, Bancroft. Idaho. The family will meet friends at the chapel on Saturday from 10 until 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations be made to The Bear River House in Logan, Utah.
Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home. Condolences may be given online at www.simsfh.com.

Jackie, the sweet, funny, hard-working woman is a dear friend. She loves her family and loves God. Her giggle makes me smile. She would always be one of the first woman to volunteer to bring a meal, cookies, go visit teaching, babysit, and drive a van full of loud kids with a smile. She was always present at each child’s activity, whether it involved sports, dance, music, and all of the school events. I worked with her at girls camp and laughed around the campfire. I've sang next to her in choir. Jackie is a woman who loved the gospel and didn't let life traumas or dramas get in the way of her testimony of Jesus Christ and her living the gospel. I hope that you all receive comfort during the lonely days ahead as some days are dreary. She loved you unconditionally. She loved being a mom and grandma. May God bless all of her children and their children. Jackie was a delight in this life and I’m sure she is already busy on the other side.
