She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Emma Kampa; husband, Norbert; daughter, Mary; 9 siblings.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Doug (Maria), Susan (Richard) Menk, Judy (Rick) Schwab, Ann, Joe (Debbie), Terri (Tony) Iliff, Denise (Jason) Houle; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; other family and friends.
Joanne's family would like to thank the incredible staff at St. Croix Hospice for their care and support.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at The Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to mass at the church. For those unable to attend, mass will be lived streamed. Please access link to connect at www.mattsonfuneralhome.com Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to a charity of choice.
