Arnold Salaman

1932 - 2021

Mr. Arnold Salaman passed away around 6 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021.
He was 88 years old when he died peacefully in his sleep at his nursing home in Cumming.
Unfortunately, as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, no visitors could be present when he passed away.
He was a simple man with simple pleasures and enjoyed socializing with others, eating out, dancing, singing songs from days of old, shopping and talking about politics with his immediate family.
When he was young, his passions included art, listening to music, and working in several pharmacies and drugstores.
He was raised in Philadelphia, then lived in Florida and Tennessee before moving to Georgia after retirement at age 77 to live with his daughter in his senior years.
He is survived by his twin daughters, Karen Griffey and Sheryl Sankey; his brother, Alan Salaman, and his stepson, Alex Limberis along with their spouses. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Jessica Roscom, Ariel Limberis and Gabrielle Limberis.
His funeral will be held at noon on April 3 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home at 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA 30040.
A graveside service will follow the viewing at 2:30 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens at 1390 Dahlonega Hwy., Cumming, GA 30028.
Donations can be offered to Congregation Dor Tamid or to Altzheimers.org in lieu of flowers.
