Brandon Weaver Obituary

Brandon Weaver, 37, of Dawsonville passed away tragically this November but will forever be remembered as a great husband, father, friend, and coach for many of the youth in the community.
Brandon was born at Northside Hospital in Atlanta on Jan. 24, 1977, and was raised in Cumming. After graduating from South Forsyth High School in 1995, he continued his stellar football career first at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, and ultimately finishing his playing days at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, S.D., where he received his bachelor's degree in 2001.
On Dec. 20, 1998, Brandon married the former Heather Buice of Cumming at Daves Creek Baptist Church where he would become an active member after accepting Jesus Christ as his savior in January 1996. He was viewed as a cornerstone of the church serving in many different capacities while having a natural affinity for serving and leading the youth.
After graduating from Dakota Wesleyan University, Brandon would excel in a sales career most recently with Empire Distributors Inc. He will be most remembered for his unwavering passion and love for his three boys Kinkade, Briggs, and Gunnar. His number one mission was to shower his boys with love and this enabled Brandon to be a beacon of light in their lives. Brandon's profound charisma with his remarkable ability to lead, teach, and motivate was also witnessed by all of the young athletes who participated in the Dawson County Parks and Recreation sports programs. His unbridled zeal for life and his ability to lift up others will forever have a lasting impact on all of those his life touched.
He is survived by his wife, Heather; sons, Kinkade, Briggs, and Gunnar; parents, Alan and Rita; and brother, Richmond.
Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 26.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Weaver Family Fund, at any Citizens Bank of Forsyth County branch.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
