I am shocked and deeply saddened at the news of Brian's death. On duty with him in Savannah, I spent many, many hours swapping stories, philosophizing about religion, the stock market, world news and all kinds of other topics. I truly enjoyed standing duty with him, especially in Charleston. He was a true gentleman as well as a fun and witty guy. In addition, he was a natural helicopter pilot as well as leader.
This world has lost a beautiful person. God bless his soul and for the strength of Heather and the kids. Matt Rother
