It's been how many years? Still thinking about his family and the special multi-family time we spent as kids, goofing off, playing, laughing, and being friends. Special to all.

It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since Joel died. As kids, our parents multiple friend groups had us kids running around antagonizing each other, but ultimately having lots of fun. Even as a youngster growing-up, Joel was always a lot of fun. I was always looking over my shoulder to make sure he and my brother weren't planning something, especially at the girls. We always looked forward to those family get togethers. Joel especially kept us laughing. Thoughts and prayers will continue to be with all whom Joel called family, as well as those whom called Joel a friend.

The news of Joels passing has me reflecting on what an optimistic problem solver he was at work. I was always amazed at Joelss ability to figure things out and get us back on track. Through his actions I learned most problems were solvable and worrying was a waste of time- instead you just go fix them. Joels cheerful approach to driving us forward will be missed at work. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God bless all of you.

Joel was a great friend-I could always count on him. Regardless of how long it had been, the conversation picked up right were it left off-normally mid joke or sarcastic comment. We were good friends for 25 years. Whether working around the world or spending time at the lake or golf course-Joel made sure we were laughing.
Susanne-you and the boys are in our thoughts.

Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss. Joel was a great person; well liked and respected. I was one of several that interviewed Joel back around 1994 for a position in the old Treatment Group in R&D. He was smart and witty. I liked him immediately.

It's hard to believe that this has happened. While we were growing-up, running around, and chasing our siblings around each others yards, this is something we didn't want to believe really happens. Susanne, Brian, Mason, Ben, Don, Judy, John, Jeff, Mary Anne, and all those who love Joel and his family, there aren't any right words to say, but please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. We don't know why this happened, we don't know what tomorrow holds.... But we do know WHO holds tomorrow. And Joel is looking in Jesus's eyes, right now. We'll be thinking about you all.
