Michael Carew Obituary

Michael John Carew, age 95, of Cumming passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015.
Fr. Michael was a retired Roman Catholic priest and former employee of United Parcel Service. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ellen Carew; and brother James Carew.
Fr. Michael was a member of the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming, and had his ministry as a priest with the Society of the Divine Word.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Dunn Carew; their three children, Michael John Carew Jr., Michelle Patrice Carew-Bessette, and Kelly Brienne Carew – Lindquist; grandchildren, Michael James, Alana Marie, and Joseph Ryan Carew, Micaela Teresa, Cora Nicole Bessette, Ethan Theodore, and Audrey Claire Lindquist.
Memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd with Fr. Frank Richardson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Terry and family;
Very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful
husband and father, grandfather. We always thought so highly of Michael and admired his faith and the such terrific person he was. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
